18181Main door issues – remedies
In our last two articles, we have explained about the Qi movement, and using Feng Shui as a tool to manage the Qi of our residence property. We have also place showcase several typical scenarios of some of the main door issues we face in apartments. Today we will do slightly more interesting as I will be teaching you how to implement simple and practical remedies to improve the Qi circulation for your apartment.
When the main Qi intake (main door) has no obstruction, Qi can flow into your apartment smoothly and easily thus helping you to achieve harmonious effects and benefits from Fengshui. The good news is Fengshui remedies should not cost you a bomb and it is not difficult to implement. However there is something we must highlight to you, not all scenarios you have a remedy for it. We need to acknowledge for the fact that not all illness can be cured. (Like AIDS, even with our modern advancement in medical science, there is still no cure for it)
We will use back last article main door scenarios to introduce or implement necessary remedy. Remember in our last article about main door unit facing each other?

Firstly, it will be best that you do not buy the above-mentioned apartments. Sometimes a lot of clients and close friends have this buy-first-cure-later mentality. The best Fengshui technique is not for you to do anything and you enjoy the benefits of Fengshui isn’t it? J So make sure you engage a good Fengshui consultant or at least make sure you have some advice from a professional before you embark the purchase of a unit.
So now, what happens when you are already had bought a unit or you are staying in one?Now get yourself a pot of plant with the pot (any colour or material) reaching your knee cap, and the plant should reach close to your chest height (approximately 2 feet). You can either place it or the right or left side outside the main door. (No preference) Of course if you want to have a balance view, you can have one on the right and the other pot on the left.
When that happens, the plant will help attract or trap the Qi this will help generate more Qi at your main door, this will improve the Qi intake from the main door. This will reduce the intense competition of Qi between the units. But still it would be best to avoid such unit.
Next the fairly common issues we see in our heartland HDB:
You could place a few pots of plants along the corridor, the Qi generated from the plants can help reduce the speed of Qi crashing into your house. Make sure the pots of plants you use odd numbers and not even numbers.
In the above scenario you could either do the same thing, place a pot of plant to seal off the ‘leakage’ of the corridor.
For the above unit you could place a pot at each edge of the wall so that it can cover up the edge and help generate more Qi for your apartment.
